Plumeria

Thailand

The plumeria, also known as frangipani, Pagoda tree, and West Indian jasmine flower is native to tropical climates such as the Pacific and Indian Ocean islands, Caribbean, South America and Mexico. They grow as either shrubs or trees, and the flowers are known for their strong fragrance. There are several different color variations ranging from yellow to pink. They are easly propogated by taking a ripe cutting of of leafless stem tips in spring and allowing them to dry at the base before inserting them into soil.
