This whole thread has me LOL! (Hmmm, seems like the 20D only needs a little NI at 3200 ??? :))
You guys have to humor us with A Hummer Shootout!

Gunter:
The noise is on the Canon images :^) not on the D2x (as long as you don’t crop the image too much).
With the 300mm + 1.7 tele-converter, I “ALWAYS” use a tripod.
Nothing special on the processing, just unsharp, curves adjustment and contrast.
Did I mention that I took about 10 pictures to get one that I really like?

It's just the angle...honestly !! :>)

so fantastic to see what possibilitis our cam has ! The details are incredible, same to the colors, and the composing couldn´t be better ! The fact that you had ISO 400 makes me wonder where is the noise ! Did you neat image but if so, why still so unbelievable details! 500 mm 1/160 sec. is also a thing that makes me hardly believe what my eyes are seeing ! Do you have a secret what i should know about the D2X, or is it the different after processing that makes such a great quality ! Would love to get a mail from you ! Günter
