A Made-Up Dilemma

To be Legal or Not Legal
That is the question facing many entities
Depending on where you live it may already be legal.
I voted for it in Washington state even though I haven’t
partaken in such things for many decades. (I didn't inhale!)
The main reason was to simplify access for people who need these products medically
and won’t have to jump through made up regulations to have something that may help them.
Yeah it made it easier for the stoners too, but most of them are
harmless and weren’t getting off the couch anyway! (Not kidding!)
I live in a retirement town and almost everyone I know who uses it has a valid reason.
From 90 somethings using CBD oil claiming it to be a God sent cure for pain.
Then there are others who use it to help with chemo or some other treatment where
the cure may be worse than the disease, all also claiming it to be God sent.
I am amazed how many people use these products.
These three products came to be props for me via three different
friends who all feel better because they use them.
The State still made up a whole bunch of made up rules and
there is a lot of stuff I don’t like, but it’s still a good thing!
So before you jump to personal or moral reasons why
you have a yea or nay you should know it helps many more people that it hurts!

Also Hemp should be legally separated from cannabis et al
and it should have NEVER been classed as a schedule one narcotic.
We should have never stopped using hemp!
We should bring it back to the point where it is common to see fields of it
and use hemp products of all kinds and there are many!
To many uses to list here so do your own research!
You will be amazed and wonder why we are not growing this plant everywhere!

Clear and colorful photo illustration of the text.

Strange that now there's talk of legalising, everyone's using it - except us who weren't aware of how it helps :( V

good points you make, and the products well illustrated....did not know about the oil to relieve joint pains...medical use is legal up here, and recreational use will be legalized in the next few months...as for hemp, have seen at least shirts for sale in recent years..

Know people in my senior community who use pot for medicinal purposes...we even have a Marijuana club! Nice shot and info. Many people do not know that the 'high' producing chemical can be and is removed in many of the products produced. v

Interesting image and equally interesting commentary. I agree with you on hemp, used for hundreds of years and so ridiculous that it became a forbidden product.

I totally agree with you. It is now legal in California and I used edibles to help me deal with migraine headaches. It does not make the pain go away completely, but it helps dull the pain and allows me to sleep. When Marijuana was legalized a lot the naysayers said it would lead to chaos, higher crime rates and many more accidents. None of that has happened.
