18th August

for once the bbc site was right, it's rained non-stop ALL day!!

I nipped upto the games to get a few pics and got soaked,
so soaked that i didn't stop long, only took about 200 pics, if it was sunny it would of been nearer 600!!
the 1 year i got free tickets and it bloody rains! :-/

I just love the rain.

Probably be January before we see any.

Even when the sun shines they look mad, so the rain doesn't change much! I see some of the bands now get their own umbrellas made too! LOL

I went to the Edinburgh Tattoo once and got soaked! - is that part of the spectacle then??!!

Amazing what different and interesting pics are to be had in the rain though - well done!

Nice shots for the weather. Didn't seem to slow the festivities too much.

Only 200 ... that is a lot by any standard. It is a new perspective to see all this in the rain. I find it to be quite interesting.

hope the camera stayed dry! 200 shots still sounds quite impressive to me.

I LOVE the parade in the rain, Zak! Such fun. That drum major looks like a great leader. I can feel the spirit of it.
