Hope to be there next week, Mr. Audi. Maybe see you there!

This shot is worthy of inclusion in a "Visit Scotland" advertisement or a Calendar of Scotland!

I'm with Helen (it's not what you think)

My favourite place on Earth.

That's a view worth paying a premium for.

Lack of electricity or water does not give Council Tax exemption (I guess this is what was referred to, rather than personal tax, which does not apply to property) - tax is due on the property. Even an empty unfurnished house is not exempt (other than temporary discount). Not paying taxes sounds like a local myth - see the DirectGov web site section on Council Tax, it has a specific section on 'Discounts and exemptions'. Properties whose owners are in jail are exempt - unless they are there for not paying their Council Tax! ;-)

And they might add something on if they think you have a nice view :-(

Perhaps it belongs to a Traveler, I see the camper.

What a quaint little house. Perhaps it has solar panels.

I grew up on a farm that had no power, water tank on the roof. With a view like that I would be happy as a bee in a honey pot.

What a beautiful little cottage, and a wonderful view-- but no electricity oooh no telly
Jenny Faa 04-Apr-2012 17:25
Apparently that house has no electricity or water so the owner doesn't pay any taxes. Who needs power and water with a view like that?

Beautiful place for a visit
