7th September

Cunard's Queen Elizabeth was in Greenock today for her first ever visit,
she's not as nice looking as the old QE2 in my opinion...

Personally I love all the great liners, the slight differences make them more appealing.
I once raced the old QE2 down the Solent, I was in a 13'.6" Dell Quay Dory with a 40 hp Johnson.
Close up at speed the ship looked unbelievably large.
The closest we got was about 50 foot.
The QE2 won the race, my lucky day, I got back alive.

She's just tied up at Liverpool about an hour ago so i'll have a closer look later.
Looks like a smaller Queen Victoria.
But nice foto.

The towerblockness.

She looks more like a container ship rather than a cruise ship.

Looks like a floating 70's multi-storey.

She is not as sleek as the older one.

That's some understatement, Zak. A big box with a cherry on top.
