have been to austin only once, and just for a couple of hours, back in '95 (as one stopover during touring north america by motorcycle for half a year, 37 thousand miles): only 2 pix i made myself then (one inevitably features the state capitol, the other shot deals the one american center - which for some reason caught my eyes). so, thanks a lot wes, for this great selection on downtown austin (great both, in terms of instinct for worthy content and angle, and for the rather opulent size/resolution most of them are provided in) - apt to remind me on an austin i've seen but didn't capture. and quite a few additional sights, that i *should* have seen (and done..).
