This logging truck just crossed our path. Just by chance. Know that some of you have never seen one of these things before, so here it is.

These logs are headed to the port of Olympia where they will be shipped to either Japan or China and then made into something and returned to the US. Friend of mine manages a door plant here, he ships logs to China where they make doors out of them and then they ship the doors back to the US and make more money than if they made the doors here. The company is looking at Viet Nam as the next country to build door plants.
