A kind of phone, that goes back to the wireless days.
The sculpture in front is one of the most popular in the city of Bochum.
It shoes Fritz Kortebusch,
who was the last official cowboy (LOL) of the city of Bochum from 1850 until 1877.
Well, cowboy isn´t exactly the right explanation:
In those days nearly each family still had a cow and some other farm animals.
In the morning Kortebusch came around, announcing himself with his horn,
so that the people opened the gates, to let the cows out.
He brought them to a place, where they could drink and stay outside
(which is the Bochum City Park nowadays), and looked after them during the days.
The poster in the back was hanging on the opposite side of the street.
It´s for the Bochum Philharmonic Orchestra.
But to me it looked like the man was listening to the sound of the horn.
