SHAPES OF THINGS (The Yardbirds)

Shapes of things before my eyes,
Just teach me to despise.
Will time make men more wise?
Here within my lonely frame,
My eyes just hurt my brain.
But will it seem the same?

Come tomorrow, will I be older?
Come tomorrow, may be a soldier.
Come tomorrow, may I be bolder than today?

Now the trees are almost green.
But will they still be seen?
When time and tide have been.
Fall into your passing hands.
Please don't destroy these lands.
Don't make them desert sands.

Soon I hope that I will find,
Thoughts deep within my mind.
That won't disgrace my kind.

Not so sure about shapes, it`s a bit like in the song.
Things that might be well known and familiar, but arenīt realized at first sight?
Like the future is a mixture of hopes and a feeling of things to come,
but never for certain?

Well, this one is for sure:
Itīs the kind of shapes, my camera canīt resist.

One of my favorite bands of the sixties and I do own the 45 of this song!
(I'm sure more than a few are wondering what a "45" is)
:^))

I see many wonderful shapes in this image, Werner. The lines of her hair, the gentle curves of her body, and the lovely textures and lines of her top.
