hello,not many people know that (and as far as i am aware) no remaining documentry proof,ref: SOME OF THESE AIRCRAFT BEAGN LIFE HAVING THE UNDERCARIAGE BUILT @ SHORT BROS SHIPYARD IN SUNDERLAND,, MY FATHER WAS A SHIPBUILDER AT THE SHORT,S YARD IN SUNDERLAND,I REMEMBER SOME FOTOS OF THEM WHEN I WAS A KID, I KNOW THE LOCAL AIRCRAFT MUSEUM (USWORTH) IN WASHINGTON U.K. NEXT TO THE UK NISSAN FACTORY, THEY HAVE SOME PARTS FOR THESE PLANES, "WELL" THEY DID 25YRS AGO,,,NO DOUBT THEY ARE STILL THERE,, JUST THOUGHT I WUD SHARE THIS INFO,,,PERHAPS MAKE A GOOD RESEARCH PROJECT FOR SOMEONE,, REGARDS.
There are two more still in existance, One in the Naval museum,Goa and another in Belfast Museum, Ireland.
Coming from Britain, I would love to see this plane. I think its the only Short Sealand that survives anywhere in the world.
