My 'new' 1964 Volkswagen which hasn't turned a wheel since 21st Dec. The reason is the rear tyre hits the non-standard 'hide-away' exhaust system whenever the rear suspension starts to compress. The result? Impressive amounts of tyre smoke, and a damaged tyre! As soon as the Christmas break was over, I ordered a new exhaust, but after a trial fitting today, I'm still not happy with the clearance. So, another system is on it's way, this time a completely different design known as a 'quiet pack' that goes no where near the tyres! Not as neat nor as quiet as the hideaway system, but a few £££ cheaper. Ah the joys of a modified vehicle. In the meantime, still lurking...
(Sorry, I know it's a similar shot to Linda's 1st Jan shot, but hey, it's my car!)
