But today is a more typical January day for this part of the world. Dullness is very hard to photograph. Dull grey clouds, damp, but not actually raining. At 8degC, it's hardly what you'd call winter either. This green stuff gowing on an old fence is everywhere at the moment, thriving in the dampness. I don't think I've seen the sun yet this year...

But the days are getting longer, if only at the rate of one minute a day. Roll on spring!
