Jan 27: My gadget

Most of the stuff in the kitchen is LM’s. Sure I use the kettle, the bread machine and oven once in a while. LM would say all too infrequently, which is probably true. But the espresso machine is definitely my gadget. LM won’t touch it. But I’m not getting the best out of it. I can't get that proper foamy crema on the top. Advice out there in internet land suggests that a good coffee grinder the key to good espresso. The pre-ground stuff on the supermarket shelves just won’t do. Hmmm do you think I need a second kitchen gadget all of my own?

A hand grinder is good, they last forever and you can adjust them.
