We were to the vet on Monday. Bonnie got an wound infection after her breast tumour operation. Looks like the "inner" stitches doesn´t get dissolve as they should. She´s on antibiotics for 10 days and I have to keep her from licking at the wound. Rather than using the Eliisabethian collar ( she can´t eat or drink with that on) I found some of my old bodies. They are a perfect fit, just had to cut a hole for her tail! AND she doesn´t touch the wound on her tummy.

When we go out, I just open the snaps, tuck the underside of the body in and make a big knot on the upper side. The wound is still protected and she´s ready for the bathroom stuff. And she has 5 different bodies, so I change it twice/day and wash the used ones. Works perfect even if people are staring a bit at her strange outfit.

And it didn´t cost anything. European women size 38 is perfect for a 21 kg´s standard poodle ;O)
