Very beautiful selportraits, especially that I know that it is very difficult for photographer to pass in front of the lens. Not only the portraits are beautiful, but the photographer too

"Confronting" photo reminds me to a World War II era propaganda poster.
"Hiding" photo looks like a Plato or Aristoteles .

Oh, what a wonderful serial of male self-prtraits, without any need to stay partially hidden behind a big smart camera or to be ridiculously proud of body-builder's poses.
It's deep, intense and simply beautiful, my vote, for the little it can be worthwhile...

Haha, everytime I have a desire to take self portraits, especially if I have no shirt on, I get the feeling that they may be perceived as narcissistic.

Hey, getting people to model for you is not easy. If you got to take picture of your self then do what you got to do. I do the same, usually because when I feel like taking pictures I am usually the only one around.

These are great potraits...no narcesism. You make a great modell and i can see you are also a great photographer. You have mastered the light very well, that can be hard when doing self potraits.
