This is a small collection of photos that I want to share with others. Some of them are from my 35mm film days a few years ago, but the majority are taken with my new Panasonic Lumix FZ20. This camera has really re-kindled the passion I have for photography. I got into photography about 14 years ago, but basically lost the creative desire to really stay active. I continued to take the occasional family shots, or even the occasional wedding for friends, but I wasn't doing photography for pleasure anymore. I think mainly it was because I didn't have an audience to share my images with who would appreciate them. Now, the digital age has hit full force. This has brought new life to my photography. I enjoy experimenting with different techniques, and being able to instantly see what works and what doesn't. This by itself has helped tremendously. No more waiting for the rolls to be developed to find out that something didn't work. Also, it has given me a portal to share my photos with other enthusiasts who understand the process behind making a good quality image. I appreciate any comments you have about my images, good or bad. Just try to be constructive so we can all learn. Take a moment to sign my guestbook also and let me know what you think. Thanks for stopping by. Hope you enjoy the small but growing collection of photos I have displayed.
Update 8/4/07: I finally renewed my subscription to PBase, so look for more photos to be added fairly regularly. I've added a new camera to my collection. I am the new owner of a Nikon D80 with Nikon 18-200mm VR lens. This camera is nothing short of awesome. I can't wait to challenge my creativity with this setup in the future, so check back often for more photos.
Latest update: I've also added a Nikon D300, and Nikkor 70-200 f/2.8, Nikkor 17-55 f/2.8 and Nikkor 85 f/1.4 lenses to my arsenal.
Thanks for stopping by, and be sure to leave a comment.
