Ray Pettit is a kindred spirit in street photography and one of my favourite images on pbase is this this one.

I come back after seeing the Ray pic.
I agree with that Niall. Sunset pic is sometimes great but the "true" "photographie" is here.

I can't get this nice of a photo with a tripod and a remote control shutter release. Well done and an excellent tribute to Ray.

I admire anyone who does this kind of candid shot! It could be posed :)

It's as if he's posing for you.. so perfect is his countanance. While the woman seems totally unaware, he seems to know - take a breath and hold still. Perfect color and light. Looks like it came straight out of a magazine.. And the fact that it's a hipshot is a massive credit to your talent.. More excellent than you know, methinks..

This is spot on. I would have rushed this and made it all fuzzy lol.
Great how you have got the light under her eyes. ~ thanks for the link;-)

This is excellent. You've done a better portrait with a hip shot than many carefully posed ones. The man's strong face and alert pose really does it here.
