Two pretty churches around cleveland are St. Patricks on Bridge Avenue, and St. Stephens Church off of bridge ave around 54th street and bridge. I know they arent Tremont area, but they are gorgeous churches.

this is the deer hunter church. very nice pix indeed. i'm from eastern ohio, not far from where the film was made in the steeltown scenes.

you have it, tom r. thats what inspired those shots.
sometimes elec. wires and street lights are a real obstraction in ones photography, then one learns to incorporate that "art".

st. michael closeup. photo evokes the feeling of a formidable, old structure (sandstone blackened from the LTV stacks) in a modern place (traffic light). i like.

I was born on the old southside in 1944, I went to Tremont School till the fifth grade and then moved to Parma Heights, I lived right across the street from the Russian church, I have many old pictures of the projects where my Aunt and Uncle lived. Your site brings back many memories. I remember when the pool at Lincoln Park was built, what a beautiful neighborhood. Dianne Bungo.

St. Alphonsous is error. Domes are Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church.
