Atlantic City

We went to Atlantic City to see a Cirque du Soleil show on Saturday.
The show was great ~ the city is a dump.
It had been about 20 years since we were last there; hopefully it will be another 20 + years before we return....

I had to revisit this gallery Steph in light of this weeks Hurricane Sandy.I do hope a new Atlantic City rises up much better than what came before the devastation.Stay safe.

I think Atlantic City is like Coney Island, you just have to go there as a spectator. The show is at Cirque du Soleil, and out on the street, where the photo opportunities abound. Nice catches of the strip. V

Sorry to hear about your disappointment about Atlantic City. They used to bus us in from Wildwood so we would only get a peak at the city around the Casinos, which was not a pretty sight back then either. We have not been down there for 25 years (minimum) also. Don't think we will. Great gallery illustrating your points. Glad you enjoyed the Cirque du Soleil though. :-) V.

Thanks for the tip on Atlantic City....guess I'll stick to Vegas....much closer for us anyway!
