One Horse Power

Mercedes Benz Museum, Stuttgart

"I believe in the horse. The automobile is only a passing phenomenon."
-- Germany's emperor Wilhelm II in 1905.

When you start the tour through the Mercedes-Benz museum, you are greeted
by this stuffed horse and the quoted misjudgement before entering the
world of Mercedes-Benz automobiles...

Guess Mercedes is happy that the emperor was wrong.

Great light and composition. The horse looks odd in this modern environment. A lot of people have been wrong about a lot of technological advances. V.
