*Note: This is the first of a weeks worth of updates from our Cayucos Beach vacation*

We arrived in Cayucos this afternoon to find the main street closed off for an antique fair downtown. Cathi and I checked in
to the Seaside Motel, a quaint favorite of ours. This is the same place we stayed last October when we were in town to get
married. After we unloaded the car, we walked down to look at the antiques. We browsed and shopped amongst the vendors
and their odd items.
I stumbled onto a nice find, an old woodworking plane, at a very reasonable price. It's not uncommon to run into friends from
home here on the central coast. As the antique fair closed down, we walked down to the Cayucos Pier where I took this photo
of Cathi. I always like the late afternoon light and this afternoon the clear beach sunshine was particularly nice. After a stroll
down the pier and some more photos, we decided to head back to our room and rest before dinner.

All in all, a good start to our vacation!
