A brief respite before the day starts.

Cathi and I are relaxing with the morning paper and some coffee, the windows open and the soft breeze carrying
the fresh cool air into the house. In a little while. we will begin on the laundry and the errands that need doing
before we go out of town tomorrow. We're celebrating our one year anniversary with a trip over to the beach.
Cayucos is on the central coast here in California, just a few miles north of Morro Bay. It's our favorite beach town,
nice and quiet at this time of year with cool weather.

Yesterday was a busy day. A friend from work got married and asked if I would video and take pictures for him.
I gladly did so, but it made for a long day. I had hoped to have something I liked well enough to post for yesterday's
PAD, but alas, I wasn't happy with what I shot. The photos turned out to be more about documenting an event than
being artistic. I knew that going in, but I had hoped for something out of the shoot to stand out. The couple will be
very happy with what I shot, but I'm not.

Cathi and I will be gone for the week, but I'll be taking pictures the whole time we're gone and I'll post them when we return.
