I just saw my first ring neck snake this early evening when covering my horses' hay bales for the night. I'm 53 yrs old and never saw one before tonight and have been outisde around horses since I was 9yrs old. It was a beautiful blue black with a single pale yellow ring. I have found a picture yet on the internet that does justice to the real thing. I thank the powers that be for this experience. Sparrowbush, Orange County, NY
