9-14 August 2008: Spent an amazing week walking the famous Overland Trail in Tasmania from Cradle Mountain to Lake St Clair. The weather was much nicer this year compared to 2007, with one fine day to start and the heavy snow dump only came after the difficult sections.
Wow Tom, what adifference 3 weeks make. Did this with Robert starting from Lake St Clair only make it to the 6th day and had to get air lifted out. A lot more snow when we did it. Crossed Pelion Gap -2 deg and 70 klm winds.....wind chill factor of -19 deg.......just a bit windy.
