20 December 2008: Probably the last hike for the record breaking year. Introduced the 100km Oxfam Trailwalker Amy to the super steep Wells Cave Track in the Cathedral Ranges. I was there to recharge my stamina after donating 470cc of blood to the Redcross the day before. Mythbusting Tom thinks there is no myth regarding loss of aerobic fitness after blood donation, especially less than 24 hours after! (The only skeptic in the world was probably just Tom, everyone else has more sense...)Yes, I did it for science! Just like trying to jog an hour after the last blood donation. Don't try this kids!
