Cindi,
The Mamiya shoots 120 6x7 film. The detail is there and the Mamiya 7 65mm lens is about as sharp as they get. I also shot the same scene with one of my digital cameras and the camera could not handle the dynamic range. You definitely get a lot more dynamic range with film...thus more tones. The only 35mm digital that I have had that came anywhere near film was the Fuji S5.
I see I miss-spelled fishermen in my last post...please excuse. LOL Fingers get ahead of the brain.

I'm loving Wolf River. Love all the tones in this.

The river is starting to tumble down here. It goes under a bridge and then it falls down quite a bit. This spot is on Native American land and there were many fisherman on the other side of the bridge. One was spear fishing, which I had never seen in person.

Thanks Hal, Bob and Michael.

Water, be it rivers, lakes or Sea is always fascinating.
This is doubly interesting for the two moods of the river.
Fast and agitated in the foreground, and calm and peaceful further back.
A lovely shot Cindy
