Weekly Informal Challenge 164: Influential



As far as I can remember, gardens were a necessity in the family, due to the depression era
and the need to can and freeze for the Winter.
My parents had fruit trees, flowers and a big vegetable garden.

Later I had a vegetable garden with the help of my hubby to get the garden ready
and help weed/ro-a-til.

This year, I only have just three vegetables: corn, tomatoes and cucumbers.
(due to the last years the garden was not doing well ...)
And my son has his basil.
