This is my hubby's GPS for work since he drives truck mostly for work.
At times, I think I need one of these, as I tend to get lost and instead of asking for directions, I'll try to find my way. I usually get there but have taken the long way...
(While up in the plane to LA., hubby found out these GPS still pick up signals and he could track where he was! )

Canon PowerShot SD800 IS
1/60s f/2.8 at 4.6mm full exif

other sizes: small medium original auto

This probably wouldn't work for me. I have a red truck.

I'm with Cindi! Unless I have a critical appointment to get to, getting lost is half the fun of getting there. ;-)
Cindi Smith15-May-2009 01:26
I don't think I'll ever buy one.....I like getting lost!

watch out for that dead-end ahead!

As I can take many routes to where I want to go, I'm sure I would find myself arguing with it often !!

These things would be great but for the stroppy woman that keeps sighing at me and saying "recalculating" in that resigned voice of hers. :o)

Great idea for the challenge, I can't use one, it tends to distract me.
Máire Uí Mhaicín14-May-2009 19:51
At times these can be quite confusing!

They are very reassuring devices...until they the sat nav places you in the middle of a field...then you need to get the map out!! Fine interpretation of the challenge!

I still like using the "old fashioned GPS" called a road map . . . but I do like htese contraptions . . .most of the time!
