Who remembers that!
I actually still use our very first laptop which came with Windows ME as it has now defunct financial software on it that I use regularly.
It is all I use it for though - it isn't even connected to the internet.
We've also got software that won't run on our new machines...and software on our new machines that won't run on our old ones. It's a pain. The most annoying of all is that I have Word on my laptop and my desktop - two versions - when I send a document from my new(ish) laptop to my old desktop so I can print it, Word chooses to run words together randomly so I have to try to remember to save in the old version of word or have to re-edit the document in the old version before printing. The even more annoying element of this is that the old version doesn't even recognise that it has run words together and therefore doesn't highlight them as errors. Grrrrrr.
