I adore the reflectional lines on the glass, really makes you think about the scale of life, does size really matter or is it an illusion

Now this is an original way to show your children! First of all, the image is abstract, which I like. Lots of lines and angles, in which these two children seem to be finding their way.
I hope they are taking the move well!

Rod -- your words are eloquent. As for the size of that picture, it looks like a 16x20 print to me --almost large as life.
Jenene makes a wonderful point -- the scale of print and chairs is ambiguous and therefore incongruous.

I can't decide if the photo of your children is larger than life or if those chairs and table are from a dollhouse. Moving house and changing countries can make you feel that way sometimes!

I used to draw an imaginary frame
Suspended in mid air
Among my thoughts,
And fill it full
Of the most wishful thing.
And now I ache to draw the frame again
Wanting its boundaries to be firm
With faithful promise,
To embrace the precious lives
That I have loved and shared
Within my granted time.
