Analog Dialogue

Suffice to say that I have decided that digital is like the preverbial "quickie", satisfying, but in an instant reward kind of way. After a while the "climax" seems to decrease in value, since it is lost in so many images (by the way, quickies are still great, so I am still using digital). Film however is like having a partner. It is about the relationship. You need to work at it to get to know it (because each film is different), take your time, alot of foreplay and chemistry, and the real reward comes from the build-up to the climax (seeing the final image on negative and then positive). It isn't great all the time (and like all partners it can be unforgiving), but when it is good, my oh my...beats a quickie every time ;-))K
