Day 1: Sailing to Avalon
Calm sea, gloomy sky with quite a good visibility. Rain showers appeared in the vicinity on several places, but we were spared. Cruising through Newport Bay lacked the usual splendor of a colorful rush hour on the water. Signs of economic downturn were obvious. It was quiet and almost empty.
