I am very confused about Jim Williams grave. In the movie, did they make up the part about Jim Williams being buried at Bonaventure cemetary? Also, they called the boy Billy and not Danny. Is his grave in bonaventure? Is the fake grave for Jim Williams still there?
Yes, Jim William's grave is in Ramah Church cemetary in his hometown of Gordon, GA.

I'm enjoying your galleries of Savannah, especially since I was enchanted by your city on my first visit there last week. I'm confused about Jim Williams' grave, though. Is this in Gordon, GA? We asked at Bonaventure Cemetery and were told that he is buried in his home town of Gordon, but that a "fake grave" was constructed in Bonaventure when they shot the movie. Can you explain? I just LOVE your photographs. Thanks.
