I live in nearby Statesboro, GA. I have always adored Savannah's beauty. Until I came to college here though I never really had a chance to explore Savannah. Its a shame to think that most people only go to Abercorn. Originally being from a small town in southeast GA, trips to Savannah growing up were rare due to the 2 hour drive and usually reserved for shopping at the malls. Boy was I missing out! Now my husband and I love making weekend trips to Savannah and explore. Looking at your photos I have realized just how little we have actually experienced. There is so much more to see, learn, and feel in Savannah. I am looking forward to checking out many of the places in your photos!

I admire your dedication to your hometown. It's wonderful to be able to see the photographable among the sights you see every day. Every time I think of picking up my camera, I head for the airport [exaggeration, but you get the idea].
