Field Trip Photography Workshop, October 28 - November 2, 2012, Great Smoky Mountains National Park. As New York City was preparing for the arrival of Hurricane Sandy, that same hurricane brought rain and the most snowfall ever recorded in the month of October ~ two feet at Newfound Gap! It was this weather and the enthusiasm of our participants that made this workshop a unique experience. When it rained, we shot in the rain. When it snowed, we shot in the snow.
At the conclusion of the workshop, participants were asked to contribute five images for a photo slide show and group critique. The images below are those images. As you can see, in spite of challenging weather, everyone came away with some amazing keepers!
