At Kiholo Bay, very cool fresh-water from the surrouding lava fields makes its way
into the warm tropical salt water of the bay, forming two layers that give this scene
its characteristic blue-green opalescence. Turtles use this remote area to rest after
an exhausting day after foraging underwater for Limu (seaweed), their main diet.
All prints include the photographer's signature, acid-free matting and foam core backing, all enclosed in sealed crystal clear protective plastic.
I trust this image has paid for many trips to the islands:) and it should! I will come back here to revisit in the throws of Winter for some peace, warmth and amazement of Mother Nature and your incredible capture of such a sight!! BV
Amazing shot with the sillouettes of the turtles! Fantastic color. I've only been to Kiholo Bay once and I was amazed at how the water was so turquoise.

So much to like about this image, so I'll just say it is magnificent! V
This is a super photo, unlike any other shot of turtles that I've ever seen. The colors, crystal clear water and turtles that appear to be in flight under the surface are sublime.
