Monochrome May Manifesto
During May, as you all have figured out, I have committed to doing all monochrome* images. … some with a touch of color just for the fun of it. My goal is to hone my eye to discern images that lend themselves to this treatment, and to practice making the conversion (CS3 b/w adjustment layer).
You may have noticed that many of the images are not “current.” Reaching into my grab bag of past photos is part of the process, and I am abandoning my self-imposed rule of doing a “new” picture every day. Too be sure these are being processed freshly on a daily basis.
For those of you in the PaD police (and I used to be one) who think this is not worth a PaD or PESO, well I hope all your pixels go poof! ;-)
* For an image, the term monochrome is usually taken to mean the same as black-and-white or, more likely, grayscale, but may also be used to refer to other combinations containing only two colors, such as green-and-white or green-and-black. It may also refer to sepia or cyanotype images. ( Wikipedia)
