May 10: Monochrome May

Del Mar, CA

With A Touch of Color

This scene is one of the most famous vistas in San Diego County. That is La Jolla in the distance. What made this image a particular challenge was the construction crane near the bridge. (see below). The Photoshop gods however have a little thing called the clone tool.

Nice clasic landscape in old style. I would have loved to see a complete sepia.

Wow, Robin, you pulled this off beautifully! Looks like a shot from 1920 or something.

Terrific as a b&w Robin. Kind of makes you want to pull over and walk ion the sand.

Your Photoshop work makes it look like a photo taken a long time ago. Well done.

I love the clone tool...use it often when I have something there I don't like! Great shot and works well in monochrome!

I really wish I could get the creative streak going that you are currently experiencing. I have been neither motivated or patient enough lately. Nice work Robin.

This turned out very nicely in monochrome.
