7 December... "One year older and wiser"

This week's challenge marks the first anniversary of the Thursday challenge - congrats and thanks to Bev and Lee for inspiring so many people !

One year older certainly. But wiser ?? One thing I do know - this year has marked my coming of age... middle age that is ! I finally admitted to myself that if I couldn't grow my arms any longer I would have to settle for reading glasses instead ! I do think they make me look wiser as well as older though...

You are still a youngster... I was forced into reading glasses 17 years ago.
Very nice photography, btw.

Yep....went through that about 5 years ago....great thing for contact lens or I would have to wear bifocals! I think you would look great in them!

I needed reading glasses at 28, so now feel really ancient lol.

Rose, that's funny, my arms didn't want to grow any longer either.
Very clever of you not to have waited for a miracle, the glasses are cute and will serve you well.

Ah yes, the reading glasses... Having worn specs since I was 7 years old I'm now heading for the bi-focal route... now that's REALLY middle aged! Beautiful shot Rose, look forward to meeting the glasses soon! ;o)
