The Turkish air force underwent major modernisations in the early-1990's. Starfighters were retired and F-16C/D's entered service in impressive numbers. One of the early Falcons was this F-16C-40-CF 89-0038, which was photographed in August 1991. Back then it flew with 162Filo from Bandirma and after more than 20 years, it still should fly with that particular Filo.
