Autumnal Niche

Wednesday 17th October
Day 1033

This is what you find behind ancient trees at this time of year! I thought it was a sweet little nest at first, but it is just like a seasonal tableau....

Nature's flower arrangement. Great find. Or, it could be the supper for the little creature who lives in the cave behind it.

Some of us Americans say Autumnal--when occasion warrants. :) This is gorgeous. Lee, Annabelle was eating a creature in the backyard just now. eeeuuuuwwwww She is spending the day in the kennel and one of the boys can scoop the leftovers!! Ick. Happy Wednesday. :)

A fine composition.
Someone asked on the radio this week if Americans use the word 'autumnal' or some other one..
