A rare passage migrant & a very rare breeding bird in Scotland. The images here are of a passage bird found on my local patch one evening in May 2005. Temminck's Stint is most often seen singly on passage prefering well-vegetated freshwater muddy margins.
These poor images were taken in low light with a 500mm & 2x teleconverter @ 800 ISO. Sadly the bird was gone by the next morning.
