Wheel Bug

Williamsburg, Va

(MAKE SURE TO VIEW THIS IMAGE AT THE "ORIGINAL" SIZE -- ie click on "original" )

Not much for art, but probably one of the better macros I've taken as far as illustrating anatomy. Discovered all sorts of interesting things looking at these once I got home.

BTW - I suspect these wheel bugs were doing the horizontal cha-cha -- two smaller bugs (males?) riding on the back of the larger one. Anyone have any ideas?

You can see and earlier nymph stage of the wheel bug, as well as some other macros here:

other sizes: small medium large original auto
