We flew into Denver Friday evening and stayed overnight by the airport. We left for Moab Saturday morning and thought I-70 was certainly one of the more scenic interstates we had driven. We took scenic 128 to Moab from the interstate and our first stop was the visitor's center at Arches National Park. We looked at the exhibits, watched the short film, and inquired about the Fiery Furnace hike (to be determined based on the weather). We decided to go to the Windows section for sunset and were a little surprised at how much snow we saw in the park. It was cloudy and overcast for sunset; no red rocks tonight!
