Birds of Prey II

On October 14 and 26, 2007 I participated in a birds of prey photography workshop sponsored by the Howell Conference and Nature Center, Howell, Michigan. Participants had the opportunity to photograph a great horned owl, a barred owl, two eastern screech owls, a red-tailed hawk, a harlan's hawk, and a turkey vulture. In addition, a woodchuck and an opossum were available for photographs. The birds of prey are all injured and will never be able to fly again. They are wonderful birds and are extremely well cared for by the Howell Nature Center. Images from subsequent photography workshops at the Howell Nature Center will be posted in this gallery.
