This is one of the favorite place I like to be at...There is a one kilometer trail around the lake..At any time its possible to see so much wild life..About 25 species of birdlife,{even Bald Eagles}, Whitetail Deer, Mule Deer, Moose,Beaver, Muskrats, Red Fox, Coyotes, Mink, Squirrels, Chipmonks, Weasels, Colombia Ground Squirrels and others. This is a main gathering spot for ducks and geese before the migration south. A person can get any photos he wishes, surise on the water to sunsets {the Lake runs West to East}. Believe it or not this is a man made lake. It has really paid off...The park is used year round. It is the Jewel of the area. We get many people from all around comming out for a visit. It is excellent for children as has a great park for them. You can rent the hall for functions from the City of Wetaskiwin. If your in the area, drop by and enjoy...
