If you come to Wetaskiwin, you will probably use 50th. Ave. It divides the northside of town and southside. The railway divides the city, east and west...Years ago if you lived on the east side of the tracks it wasn't cool...today is a different story. Most of the new subdivisions are there. All the major recreations are there...The east side is a great area to live..All the major shopping is on the west side, on the auto mile. The main street downtown is making a big comeback. Just on the east side of the tracks on 49th. street are some very old building that have alot of meaning to the old timers...A lot of history is here. I will have photos of this side and some info soon.
