I had remote control on this camera with a super wide angle lense.Too slow for auto focus so manual was used. When they come in straight on its just by luck you get any good shot, guess work... like about 5 out of a 100. Just got this new Nikon d800 with the Nikon 200-400 zoom... What comes out of it is pure quality... I am really please... the down side when shooting birds like this 4 fps is too slow... You should have a least 8 fps or more.. This last week I shot close to 800 shots over 32 hours of photo taking... just about bluebirded out.. lol
