The real Dry Island Jump area, is in the middle of the photo. A good reason for it... Out of the wind, and in this area, just under the jump, there were lots of pools of water year round. On the top they could see for miles.. This is the area were they found many indian artifacts.
You can see what they call the real prairie wool "grasses" in the foreground. Just over the edge is a 100 to 200 foot drop.
